On this World Environment Day, Rotary Club of Panvel Elite, in collaboration with Ganesha Recyclers, Panvel, proudly launched a Milk Bag Recycling Campaign. This initiative aims to raise awareness and promote the plastic recycle-reuse-reduce policy. Since its inception, the campaign has successfully onboarded 10 tea centers across Panvel, each committed to collecting and donating their used milk bags. With schools now reopened, the Rotary Club is expanding its efforts by targeting educational institutions. The campaign plans to educate students on the importance of recycling and encourage them to collect milk bags from their homes. Designated collection centers will be established in schools, making it convenient for students to participate and contribute to the cause. The campaign not only addresses the environmental issue of plastic waste but also aims to instill sustainable habits in the younger generation.
