Aadhaar was introduced in the year 2009 Aadhaar Card is the primary identity document for an Indian Citizen. Aadhaar is the world's largest biometric ID system. World Bank Chief Economist Paul Romer described Aadhaar as "the most sophisticated ID programme in the world" Aadhaar is considered as the proof of residence and not as a proof of citizenship. Various Government Schemes and Welfare Schemes are linked through Aadhaar. Now, the Government of India has taken an initiative to update the KYC information of citizens who have been issued Aadhaar Cards for more than 10 years. This KYC Document Update will enable the citizens to continue to use Aadhaar and avail its benefits. Rotary Club of Panvel Elite has arranged a Pilot Camp for its members and their families and friends. Upon successful completion of the Pilot Camp, we plan to arrange a camp for the general public. This project is conceptualized and led by Rtn. Ashish Mehta and is organised in association with Star Enterprises - Maha E-Seva Kendra
