Reviving and educating the younger generation girls and ladies about the traditional games played in Shravan on occasion of manglagaur (known as Manglagaur games) Shravan is considered a very holy month and we pray Lord Shiva who protects the followers from all dangers and blesses them with good health and fortune. Usually the newly wed ladies fast on this day after performing the puja and also play traditional manglagauri games. This includes singing, dancing, physical activity and games. The participants were taught the various games like zimma, sup ghya bai sup ghya, pinga ga pori pinga , aagota pagota, nach ga ghuma, traditional fugdi, komda(a game in which we walk like a rooster) and many more. These games teach us the hand eye coordination and are played to create bonding between the women who play these games. All the lady Rotarians, 4 Guests, 8 Anns, and 2 Rotaractor girls attended the function and had a lot of fun.
