Anns of the Rotary Club of Panvel Elite, as part of the vocational service, had decided to conduct workshops every month particularly aimed at women. After the overwhelming response to the first workshop – Home Made Ice Cream Workshop in July 2021, Anns of the Rotary Club of Panvel Elite followed it up with a Free Make Up Workshop on 13th August 2021 Online on Zoom. 401 people registered for this workshop with most of them being from small towns across India and few from Australia and Oman. Ms. Sanjana Bhandari – A professional makeup artist and founder of Princess Tales who has worked with various celebrities demonstrated a step by step make up techniques that can be used on a daily basis. The 2 hour long in-depth workshop also offered some tips to the attendees to ensure that the makeup lasts for a long time and also elaborated on mistakes to avoid while applying makeup and buying makeup products. One of the heartening things that is being observed through these workshops is that many women are able to upskill themselves and some of them have even started to offer the knowledge they are deriving out of these workshops as service to their customers. This is helping them to create additional income opportunities, aiding in their professional growth and empowering them.
