102 Panvel Postmen and Post office Employee's benefit from Free Health Check up camp organized by Rotary & Rotaract Club of Panvel Elite. 3 Postmen detected of having a Cataract condition offered free cataract surgery Although we live in the day and age of Electronic Media, traditional mail still holds a vital importance. And the postmen who tirelessly help to ensure that consignment is delivered meticulously still form an important part of society. In order to show our gratitude towards them, Rotary & Rotaract Club of Panvel Elite in Association with R.S.S. Jankalyan Prabhakar Patwardhan Smruti Rugnalay organised a free health check-up camp on 18th January, 2020. 102 postmen & Post Office Employee's benefitted from the camp which comprised health check up of bone density, eye, sugar, Lipid profile and blood pressure. The postmen who were detected of any deficiencies were offered free medicines and 3 cataract condition Postmen were offered free cataract surgery. Dr. Ravish Vaishnav, Dr. Gauli handled the eye check up while Dr. Priyanka Khaire (GP) and her assistant Rakhi Karkare from Patwardhan looked after health check-up. Pratik Rahate (Pharmacist - Sun Pharma) - Sponsored Lipid Profile Irfan Modal representing Torrent Pharma carried out Bone Density check . Postmen expressed their happiness over the success of the camp.
