In an unfortunate turn of events, the state of Kerala was struck by a natural calamity in form of flood which shook the entire state by claiming lives of hundreds and displacing and disrupting lives of more than 1 million people. They say there is no religion bigger than that of Humanity. That being, said, Rotary Club of Panvel Elite, in an attempt to extend a small helping hand towards those in need, donated flood relief materials in association with Government of Kerala through Kerala House Vashi on 20th August, 2018 and 24th August 2018. Materials such as Food Grains, eatables, medicines, toileteries, baby clothings, ladies and gents clothes, inner wears and water bottles were were airlifted to be sent to Kerala. In order to ensure that the help reaches the right place, Rotary Club of Panvel Elite co-ordinated and communicated with a Rotary Alumni stuck in Kerala to update us about the ground level situation there and also letting us know about the requirements of the affected.
