Minutes of Meeting	1. Minutes of last meeting were read by Secretary Rtn. Yogita Mishra 2. Fund Raising Project Proposals were presentsed by Rtn. Aditya Joshi A) Yearly Calendar by RCPE A regular size calendar to be printed with four advertisements on each page with Clubs name and logo through all the pages. Copies to be made: 1000 Estimated fund raise: Rs. 2.5 lacs Project Chairman: Rtn. Shirish Joshi B) Misal Mahotsav 2023 Planned in the month of November. The event will be for 3 days. Estimated Fund Raise: 2.5 - 3 lacs Project Chairman: Rtn. Ritesh Munot C)Box Cricket Box Cricket Tournament to be arranged in the month of Jan/Feb Estimated Fund Raise: Rs. 75,000 - 1 lac Project Chairman: Rtn. Sachin Banthia The raised funds would be used as club cash contribution for the GG project for Pediatric Heart Surgeries. I request all the members to contribute their time and efforts for collecting funds through these fund raisers for a noble cause. I believe together we can achieve and surpass the target of 6 lacs by end of February. 3. Formation of Interact and Rotaract Club A) Application for Rotaract Club of Kalsekar Technical Campus is made and we are expecting the charter from RI in next 2 weeks. B) Similar application for Rotaract Club of Pillai College of Architecture is to be made in the coming 2 weeks. Ann Poorva Joshi is coordinating with the faculties. C) Dean of Kalsekar Technical Campus, Pharmacy Department has suggested 2 schools for the interact clubs. A visit to these schools is in planning stage. I will request a team of 4-5 members to accompany myself and Rtn. Dr. Swati Likhite to visit these schools and check the possibility of forming Interact Club. 4. Club Program and Activities Rotaract Club of Panvel Elite has organized a Garba Raas on 28th October. The details of the same are posted on the group. It's an appeal to all the members to participate and encourage your friends and relatives to purchase the passes and raise funds for a social cause. We as the parents of Rotaractors are required to attend in full quorum and have fun with them. 5. Election for the Club President for the year 2026-27 The election for the club president for the RY 26-27 was declared in the BOD. The committee consists of: Chairman: IPP Rtn. Dr. Swati Likhite Members: PP Rtn. Raj Munot, PP Rtn. Ashish Mehta, PP Rtn. Ritesh Munot, PP Rtn. Shirish Joshi and PP Rtn. Manoj Munot The forms are available at Rtn. Ashish Mehta's shop The last day for filing the nomination is 30th November 2023 6. Any Other Matter A) Rtn. Dr. Swati Likhite has received a request to conduct a Typhoid Vaccination Camp for Vaishya Samaj in Mirchi Galli, Panvel. The proposed date for the project is 28th October. The number of vaccinations requested is 200. The cost of the project is Rs. 15000 Rtn. Pankaj Soni is trying to get the vaccines at a lesser cost. I appeal if any other member can also contribute to arranging funds or getting a sponsor for the project. B) Rtn. Rushabh Banthia has sponsored 2 CPUs. We need 2 monitors, keyboards and mouse. If any member has them in spare and can donate, please contact me or Rtn. Rushabh Banthia. 2 computer sets are required in our tribal villages. C) On 6th October, a meeting with PDGs from the Raigad region was held at New Panvel Blood Bank Hall. The agenda was to declare DG's candidacy for the Rotary Year 26-27. Rtn. Nitin Dhamale has been nominated for the post. This meeting was attended by Presidents and a few senior BOD members of each club in the Panvel region. As of now, no candidate is challenging Rtn. Nitin Dhamale. The next general meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 26th October
