| Minutes of Meeting | Minutes: 1. Discussion on proposed projects: ✓ Pediatric Heart Surgeries: The BOD has agreed to go for the global grant for this project. BOD has suggested organizing a fundraiser event or identifying donors directly to raise the balance of funds. We plan to support 15 Surgeries and 40 ANC for pregnant women. ✓ Rotary Garden: We have submitted our interest to develop a green zone to the concerned authority in the industrial area. We are awaiting their feedback. Meanwhile, Project Chairman, Ann Poorva Joshi has prepared a draft DPR for the project. A committee meeting for the same will be called soon. ✓ Smokeless Wood Stove: The primary draft report for CSR is ready. We need to organize a call with the supplier for final product costing and supply timeline. ✓ Happy Village: ?Cycle Donation campaign with Robinhood Army - RA is going to support us with the cycles. We will identify the needy students and distribute the cycles. ?Computer Set Donation - Rtn. Rushabh Banthia has 2 computer sets ready with him. ?Notebook Donation - 150 notebooks are ready with Rtn. Rushabh Banthia ?Solar Rooftop - We are planning a pilot project of installing a solar rooftop system on one of the schools. 2. Formation of Rotaract Club: ✓ We will be forming an institution-based Rotaract Club in Anjuman-I-Islam Kalsekar Technical Campus (AIKTC), Panvel This was initiated by our IPP Rtn. Dr. Swati Likhite ✓ Similarly we also plan to form another institution-based Rotaract Club in Pillai College of Architecture, Panvel. This is initiated by Ann Poorva Joshi 3. Ganpati Idol Making Workshop: Last year we conducted this workshop for the students of Gulsunde School. This year we plan to take this workshop as a Club Activity for Interactors, Rotaractors, and Rotarians. 4. Any other matter Rtn. Sachin Banthia has proposed a very good project. The project is sensitive and need of the hour. The details will be shared once some basic groundwork is conducted. Next Meeting: Thursday, 24th August 2023 Venue & Time will be shared shortly. |
