| Minutes of Meeting | 1. Formation of Election Committee for Nomination of President for the year 25-26 and declaring the elections. Committee Chairman: IPP Rtn. Raj Munot Committee Co-Chair: PP Rtn. Ashish Mehta Committee Members: PP Rtn. Ritesh Munot PP Rtn. Sachin Banthia PP Rtn. Neeraj Kothari President Nomination forms are available at Committee Chairman. Elections for President Nominee Designate (PND) for the rotary year 2025-26 are declared. 2. Information on Upcoming Projects in October. Details of upcoming projects were shared by President Rtn. Dr. Swati Likhite and will be shared in the group later. 3. Update on Box Cricket Event - Rtn. Rounak Surana 18th December is the date decided for Box Cricket. Venue is booked. Expenses were discussed. How to meet these expenses and raise funds by sponsorship were discussed. A project report made by IPP Rtn. Raj Munot was presented as a cause for taking up the Box Cricket tournament. Further a committee will be made Project Chair Rtn. Rounak Surana & Co-Chair Rtn. Sachin Banthia They will update us with the no of sponsorships and respective amount of the same. 4. Update on Fund Raising Program - Rtn. Ashish Mehta/ Rtn. Hastimal Jain Earlier date for Hasya Kavi Sammelan was 14th Jan But Rtn. Ashish Mehta & Rtn. Hastimal Jain suggested that we have less time to make prior preperations and we should reschedule the event in March during Holi. So the tentative date is 8th March 2023 Estimated expense for the event is Rs. 6 lacs. Target fund raise is Rs. 12 lacs. (Net fund raise = 6 lacs) The cause for fund raising activity is unanimously agreed to all the ongoing projects until now. So I request all the Past Presidents to kindly provide your DG reports to me at the earliest to compile the projects and make one single project report to present to sponsors/donors. We need to identify confirm donations worth Rs. 6 lacs from 1 or more donors to secure our expenses. Rtn. Dr. Swati Likhite shall lead this committee for collecting 6 lacs donations from non-Rotary community and out of Panvel donors along with few members. The other 6 lac donation responsibility will be led by Rtn. Hastimal Jain and few members. We need to create teams and delegate work to make this event a grand success. 5. Updates from District, if any Sevarth Event is organised by District to recognise 10 best performing clubs in Service Projects. We have uploaded over 40 services projects fulfilling the criteria out of 62 total projects until now. Th event details will be posted by President Rtn. Dr. Swati Likhite. 6. Open Discussion (By Rotarians) A) Rainy picnic is rescheduled to an Overnight Picnic. Destination: Guhagar Dates: 12th & 13th November 2022 Contribution: Rs. 3500 per person including stay, food & sightseeing. Detailed itinerary and price structure will follow. B) Order for T-Shirts is placed for 31 Members (Rtn. Anns, Spouse, Rtr. and Annets) Will share the delivery dateand other details by tomorrow. Request the members to kindly pay the amount for T-Shirt when you come tomorrow for Dandiya Celebration. |
