| Minutes of Meeting | The meeting started with a warm welcome to all the members and guest speakers. The first speaker of the day, Dr. Bhusare gave a very informative talk on District Initiative PPH for health monitoring through an application. Mr Sachin Karwa also joined through Zoom and explained to us the working of the app and how it can be used by members of the club and beneficiaries as well. Our second speaker, Dr. Sangita Ghanate made us aware about the most trending & growing lifestyle disease, "Diabetes". Her knowledge and experience helped us understand the importance of adapting to a newer and better lifestyle in order to avoid diabetes, reverse the diabetes and to control the diabetes. Our last speaker, Dr. Suhas Haldipurkar, a veteran Eye Surgeon once again appealed for a greater humanitarian cause of "Eye Donation". He informed us of the factual figures of the need of eye donations and the actual donations we currently get. He also appealed to join the Mega Eye Donation Rally organised by his club in Panvel in synergy with all clubs in and around Panvel. It was a very healthy session for all the members present and we definitely were inspired and motivated to take action on our healthy lifestyle. The meeting concluded with Secretarial Announcements, Vote of Thanks and Dinner. |
